I have these in a rust colour from a few years ago and they have lasted really well. The purple version feels softer and has an open back pocket rather than zipped like the original version. It has a smarter cord tie finish than the original too. Perfect length.

I’m so happy with my new shorts, they are so comfortable and easy to wear. They have nice sized pockets and are a lovely material. I’m 5’8 and usually wear a 10 on my waist/bottoms. Small fit perfectly. I would 100% recommend. Only slight negative is the price- personally I think it’s quite a lot for shorts, but I treated myself and it’s definitely worth it.
