Happy with this jacket for just adding a top layer during the warmer months. Handy to put on when going in the garden on cool mornings (we have two dogs) as well as local dog walks. Only two pockets but they are quite large and secure. Really like the colours, dark orange and grey. Not really a technical item but a really handy one to have for many situations, walks, the pub, going to the match (early season games) etc.
Would recommend.

Bought 6 months ago, have given it a good go and must say, it's a very poor garment. I wasn't expecting the world, it's not a waterproof item but should at least offer some degree of shower proofness. It doesn't. Soaked through in even the lightest rain. Not really windproof either, you really feel the wind cut through the fabric and can get much better elsewhere. Bought because of the hype with this brand, not worth the money.

Nice quality and looks good. Agree with others, it does fit slightly large.
I know it's only advertised as being protected for light rain or fog but it really isn't waterproof in the slightest. Any water that hits the jacket seems to immediately soaks into the material and layers underneath quickly become wet.
Will be keeping it but I'll probably look at buying another more waterproof thin jacket.

You're absolutely right that this jacket is designed as a windshell rather than being fully waterproof. The Gusto Recycled Windshell Jacked is water-resistant with a DWR coating, rather than waterproof, as the seams are not sealed. This means that whilst wearing, if an unexpected shower comes your way, your coat will not let water come through from the outer fabric, and will instead 'bead' and roll off the surface of the fabric.
